In 1999 I began a search for a jewelry box for my daughter. It seemed impossible to find a good quality jewelry box that she could use at age 12 and continue to use as she grew up. I finally was able to purchase a chest from a manufacturer I did business with through my silver restoration business (I am a silversmith by trade). It was then I realized the need for jewelry boxes on the internet and opened my first store. I managed it by myself (with some happy volunteering from my family members) and we successfully completed our first holiday season. The business continued to grow and I now have a wonderful full time staff that share my philosophy of offering exceptional products at great prices and most importantly offering superior customer service for everyone that visits our web site.

•What I do in my spare time
Well, being a small business owner takes up a lot of time, but when at home, I love spending time with my wife, children, and grandchildren. Salmon fishing is one of my favorite past times; spending early morning hours on the beautiful Puget Sound here in Seattle.

•My Favorite Jewelry Boxes
 - For the men out there, I favor the Belden. This box offers perfect storage solutions for all your daily items: cufflinks, watches, cell phone, iPod, wallet and keys. You can safely store everything in one place and the box has a unique, strong design.
 - When it comes to Women's jewelry boxes I have always liked the Emerald. We have offered this jewelry box since our 2nd year in business and it still remains one of the best pieces available.
 - For the little ones, I really like the Duchess II in Cherry. This jewelry box is quaint yet formatted to store many different pieces of jewelry (or even just small toys and other keepsakes). This box is great for young girls and offers lots of room to grow.

I started at Jewelryboxsales.com in 2002 when it was still an in home business. My work here began as a customer service representative and order processor. As the business grew I acquired more leadership roles in the company. One of my favorite jobs here is speaking with our customers and helping in their selection of the perfect jewelry box. My decisions in product development and merchandise selection are a direct reflection of the requests and feedback I have received from our customers for 8 years. I truly believe that we offer the best selection of quality jewelry boxes available on the market.

•What I do in my spare time
When I am not surrounded by jewelry boxes I am with my husband and 2 beautiful children. We spend a lot of time outside enjoying the wonderful Northwest. Our kids are big fans of the park so I can be caught on the occasional swing sets and jungle gyms. I also really enjoy the arts and Seattle has so many great opportunities to experience music, drama, and dance. I take advantage of that as much as possible!

•My Favorite Jewelry Boxes
     -For women, my current favorite jewelry box is the Elizabeth II. This jewelry box will hold jewelry collections of the past, present, and still leave room for the future. 
     -For men, I would recommend the Man's Dresser Valet Box. It provides comparments for specific pieces but also lot's of "catch all" areas for easy access to every day items like wallets and keys.
     -For children I love the Pricilla Jewelry Box. I like it because it is compact but still offers a nice layout inside to accommodate lots of little treasures.
